Encourage your family and friends to order pictures of you through out your career.  You will thank me later. Buy an album and start filling the pages.  I look back and wonder why I don't have more photos so I am placing my order now so that I don't kick myself later.

Special note: Most photographers are in the infield shooting action shots.  So with that said, your left arm and leg will get the  most exposure.  When you send a picture to a sponsor make sure that they can see their name on your leathers or bike.  If they are on your right arm or leg, contact your photographer and get them to take a picture from the other side.  This will do two things... MAKE YOUR SPONSOR HAPPY and It shows that YOU CARE about making your sponsors happy.

Why are they so important? Well for starters they capture the essence of the moment and provide proof that you are showcasing your sponsors logo on your bike and your leathers.

Pictures should in included if possible in all race reports and obviously on your website. Some photographers will allow you to by a disk so that you can upload your photos to your site. But make sure when you do this that you clearly state where the photo credit is due. Example: Photos provided by : Flat Trak Fotos.

When you support your photographer (buying pictures) your photographer will take more pictures of you because you are supporting the sport.  It is extremely important to have a photographer "on your side". Once you developa strong relationship with the photographer you can set up some more meaningful or staged photos.

At the end of your season you should send out a Thank you to your sponsors or at the very least a nice action shot autographed of you!
